FLOWER BOUQUET SHARES for 2023!

We look forward to being your community flower farmer

Our flowers are grown using organic practices on just under 2 acres. Our focus has always been on starting from select high quality seed to grow unique, heirloom, and offer a beautiful variety of color, shapes, texture and size. With more than 40 types of flowers and well over 150 cultivars we produce a bounty of blooms that make the most lavish and gorgeous bouquets.

What are Bouquet Shares?

Our Flower Bouquet Shares are offered through a model known as CSA, Community Supported Agriculture. Welcoming community members to support us, their local flower farm by purchasing a share. This season we are offering two different types: a Summer Bliss Bouquet Share & a Dahlia Field Bouquet Share. These shares are purchased in advanced which help us to recognize how many people are interested in supporting our small farm and also allows us to run our farm more sustainably. All funds are invested in our farm so that we have more flexibility in pre ordering seeds, fertility and employment opportunity as well as volunteer training. OUR BOUQUET SHARES

• Our first flower bouquet share begins on June 7th, 2023! We will offer a limited number of shares, placing an order today will assure you an armload of flowers through out our 2023 season. We are thrilled to offer this for you!

• Please note: Pick up arrangements from Harris Road has been changed. Deliveries are available for Prairie Crossing Community families. If you live outside this area we offer pick up at the farm stand of Tempel Farms Organics. Located at 17970 W. Millburn Road, Old Mill Creek, IL.

• Our bouquets are full! They are not arranged by stem count. We like our bouquets to make a statement!

• Our flowers will be available to take home in either a bucket or jar so they will be always be set in water. All buckets and jars are returned to us the following share pick up. We always wash and reuse.

OUR COMMITMENT

• We won’t ever use any harsh chemicals or herbicides. We want you to freely smell, touch, taste (prefer only the edible ones!) and not worry about any residue from our bouquets.

• For 17 years, I have never even used floral food in the water to promote vase life. A simple clean vase, fresh water changed regularly and staying out of direct sunlight, our bouquets will last!

• No plastic. We are very eco conscious and never wrap in plastic. If our bouquets need protection we use plain paper wrapping and use and reuse glass jars to distribute our flowers for our Shares and selling at our farmer’s markets.

• We are first and foremost loyal to growing flowers, it’s our specialty.
